While I came to, I felt the spectral, ethereal presence of an ambivalent omen.
Conscious? I may have been. Paralyzed, I lay still.
As naïve and bare as fetus from womb, I lay docile. Bare.
The presence magnifies. A manifestation begins.
Now, a resemblance of sensation begins to overtake.
An opaque state of being.
In an instant, I remembered everything…
Is this foreboding? Yes.
And now, the wisp has molded. Contrast to anatomy.
And yet, I lay still.

With arrival of occult supernatural, I have fully come to.
Not merely an astral projection. The wisp, far from corporeal
Yet, tangible, opens a void unlike any comprehensible.
A somber presence coursing through.
A new sensation. Opens to new question.
An illusionary nerve fires. I begin to wonder.
The wisp answers: “Angel to some, demon to other.”

PART 3: Opiate

Entering the cavernous void.
Soon to feel a subtle force. Somber tug.
Tranquil it may be, the tug increases in intensity. much more vigorous.
Sight is now frenetic.
I’ve Entered in. Cacophonous colors beyond earthly spectrum.
Psychedelic patterns of evangelical proportion.
“Hold tight, child.”
“These deities created of man. Merely opiates to cultures.”
“This world, nothing more than an ellipse. You’ve yet to discover the pattern?”

In an opaque state of being.
In an instant, I remembered everything…
Is this foreboding? Yes
As quick as the thoughts came to, I had soon forgot.
A timeless encounter, transcending mortality.
It has been called, a kiss, a touch, an embrace.
The wisp gentle shuts the eyes of my once mortal soul.
“Do not mourn for him, it was merely the child’s time.”

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10
